Round 2 opens in Bacolod City

The Asian On-Road Championship, an annual event featuring remote control cars, opens its second round today at the Bacolod Central District Speedway, which is located next to Robinsons Place Bacolod. The event runs until Sunday, June 10.

This is the first time the event has come to the Philippines.

The event, now in its sixth season, is expected to attract 80 racers from across Asia.

Among those expected to participate in the Bacolod City leg include defending world champion Team Yokomo, comprised of Ronald Volker, Meen Vejrale, Charlee Putiyothin, Simon Nicholson, and John Puse; along with Team XRay, comprised of Alexander, Jan Ratheisky, Dominic Quek, Luke Sinanian, and Lex Tyler.

In addition, Atsusui Hara, who leads Team LRY, is also anticipated for the event.

After the Philippines, the event heads to Australia for Round 3, South Korea for Round 4, and Japan for Round 5./JSG, WDJ
