Calvary Pontevedra Futboleros Club recently won the Allianz National Futsal League U-16 girls division title, which took place in Santa Cruz, Laguna.

The club defeated Cordillera Binnadang, 2-1, in the championship match.

Sandy Matunding scored the two goals and was named MVP.

In addition, Justine Marie Mamon and Melona Rafil of the Pontevedra club were among eight players selected to participate in next month’s Allianz Junior Football Camp in Thailand. The top three performers at the camp will travel to Munich in September, where they will train with Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich./JSG, WDJ
