A 50-year-old woman was injured after she was bumped by a speeding motorcycle Sunday morning at Bangga Takas in Barangay Tuburan, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the victim as Mylene Binas, a resident of the said barangay.

EB Magalona Police Station traffic investigators said the motorcycle, driven by 22-year-old Mark Madadaro, was speeding along the barangay’s main road when he bumped Binas, who was trying to cross the road.

Binas was immediately rushed to the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, and later to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, after incurring several injuries.

Madadaro was later apprehended by EB Magalona police.
