A suspected high value drug target was arrested late Sunday afternoon following a raid conducted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region VI (PDEA-6) operatives at San Juan Baybay in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

PDEA agents arrested Lando Manguin, a resident of the said area.

Armed with a search warrant issued by the San Carlos City Regional Trial Court-Branch 59, PDEA agents stormed Manguin’s residence and seized a total nine sachets of suspected shabu, along with drug paraphernalia and P5,222 worth of suspected drug money.

PDEA-6 agents estimated the weight of the seized substances at 20 grams and valued around P136,000.

Manguin is now detained at the San Carlos City Police Station and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
