Negros Occidental takes little league, junior softball titles

Negros Occidental won the little league and junior softball titles at the recent 2018 Philippine Series in Cabuyao, Laguna, earning them qualification for the upcoming Asia-Pacific Regional Softball Championships in Singapore.

The Negrense little league squad defended their championship by beating Cavite, 13-3, in the finals; while their junior softball teammates beat Pasig, 3-1, to take the title.

However, in the senior league event, Negros Occidental lost, 3-0, to Tanauan./JSG, WDJ
