Cassie Carballo of Silay City is playing for De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) in the upcoming University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) season.

“It’s a dream come true for me to be able to play in a Manila-based school,” she said.

Carballo previously played for Living Stones International School and was scouted when the Philippine SuperLiga tour visited Silay City earlier this month./JSG, WDJ
