A motorcyclist was killed after he reportedly hit a parked truck Tuesday evening in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the fatality as 45-year-old Allan Segayo, a resident of Sitio Casa, Barangay Concepcion of the said city.

Talisay City Police Station traffic investigators said Segayo was speeding westward along a provincial road when he bumped into the rear portion of a parked truck, which was loaded with sand.

Local residents in the area immediately assisted Segayo and rushed him to the city’s health center, where he was declared dead on arrival by medical staff.

Talisay City police are presently trying to identify the truck’s driver, who reportedly fled after the incident./DGB, WDJ
