Isabela to kick off federalism caravan this weekend

Isabela Mayor Joselito Malabor said a caravan intended to boost the federalism campaign will kick off in Isabela on Saturday, June 2.

He added, 16 other local government units across the country will be conducting similar activities simultaneously.

Malabor said caravans will begin in Toboso, Calatrava, and Canlaon City at 6:00 a.m. and converge in Isabela by 12:00 noon.

A program will then be held in the town plaza at 2:00 p.m.

The mayor said not everybody understands the purpose of federalism and the caravan is a methods of spreading information and awareness. He noted, information education and communication campaign materials will also be distributed.

Malabor said he is expecting around 5,000 to attend the event, where he urged participants to wear white./DGB, WDJ
