A high-value target and reported official, described as a “right hand,” of the Prevendido Drug Group, was arrested earlier this week in Barangay Taal, located in Iloilo City’s Molo district.
18-year-old Patrick Ian Gomez was arrested in Barangay Bakhaw, in the city’s Mandurriao district, after handing a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for P1,200.
Following the arrest, another six sachets were recovered from the suspect.
Gomez was wanted after evading police during a buy-bust last March.
His father, also a drug personality, was shot dead by police in 2016 after he resisted arrest.
In addition, Gomez’ mother was arrested in the March bust; while his sister, also a high-value target, is currently in hiding./WDJ
