Zayco named ‘richest’ board member three years in a row

For the third straight year, outgoing Negros Occidental Board Member Pedro Zayco earned the distinction as the richest board member after reporting a net worth of P33,669,056.34 on his 2017 statement of assets and liabilities (SALN).

His net worth has risen over the years, as it was reported to be around P31.89 million back in 2015.

Board Member Valentino Miguel Alonso, who represents the Provincial League of Councilors, took second place with a net worth of P16,165,019.84.

Meanwhile, coming in last on the list was Board Member Annabelle Bermudo, who represents the Association of Barangay Captains. She reported a net worth of P183,000.

In addition, Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson reported assets worth P5,402,314,97.

The amount is an increase from the P4,406,511 reported in 2016./DGB, WDJ
