SC: CORON, FORTUNE & VERDE ISLANDS, & 64 OTHERS FACE OWNERSHIP  PROBLEMS: A very big ownership problem confronts many parcels of land, not only in Boracay, but also in equally-famous tourist spots like Coron-Busuanga in Palawan, Fortune and Verde Islands in Batangas, Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro, Panglao and Balicasag Islands in Bohol, Puerto Princesa and other islets around Palawan, Camiguin Island in Cagayan De Oro, Misamis Oriental, and 60 or so other islands in the country.

According to the Supreme Court in its decision in the cases of “Secretary of the DENR, et. al. vs. Mayor Jose Yap, et. al.” G. R. No. No. 167707, October 08, 2008, and “Dr. Orlando Sacay, et. al. vs. Secretary of the DENR, et. al.,” G.R. No. 173775, October 08, 2008, those islands actually remain government-owned lands pursuant to their classification as “unclassified public forest,” even if businessmen and powerful people have already been using them and earning greatly from them.

Because the classification of these islands remain to be “unclassified public forest,” they can never be appropriated by anyone and claim ownership over them, no matter how long those lands have been used for private purposes and for profit. If we think seriously about this, we cannot deny that there is a compelling need for President Duterte to recover these islands as well, and return them to the natives of those places.

DUTERTE MUST RECOVER CORON, FORTUNE & VERDE ISLANDS,& 64 OTHER ISLES IN RP: I am proposing, at this point that President Duterte is trying to recover Boracay from the businessmen and politicians who have put up businesses in the island with the end in view of returning it to its native residents, he must also move now to recover the islands and tourist spots that the Supreme Court referred to in its decision of October 08, 2008.

I am reiterating the fact that what the court mentioned in that decision were 64 and more islands and tourists spots in the Philippines. The Duterte government must now endeavor to recover all of these islands from the businessmen and powerful people who, for all intents and purposes, should even be considered and prosecuted as land grabbers so the country and the people could start benefiting from the lands, too.

If the truth be told, criminal land grabbing is how we should all view the take-over of unclassified public forests and their utilization as tourist spots for the economic gain of only a few. The country and the people own these lands, and no specific groups should be allowed to benefit from them alone, to the exclusion of the general public.

AND KNK, “SUI GENERIS:” Starting today, I will endeavor, by the grace and permission of God, to make a regular discussion of the matters that are discussed by the members of the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ Church (or AND KNK, the Simbahang Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo) during their regular gatherings on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wendnesday, with the end in view of clarifying the doctrinal teaching about being “born of God.”

The first point I wish to clarify about AND KNK is this: it is a Christian Church, although it is not allied with, or affiliated with any church anywhere else in the world. As the Latin phrase “sui generis” indicates, the AND KNK is a class by itself, and is not comparable with any other group.
