Bacolod City gymnasts win

Bacolod City gymnasts recently earned medals in the 2018 Philippine National Games. While the formal competition opens on Saturday, May 19, at the Abellana Sports Complex in Cebu City, the gymnastics competition opened on May 12 and closed yesterday, May 16, at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.

Althea Descutido of Trinity Christian School won gold in senior division hoops and bronze medals in the club and ribbon categories. She also earned bronze in the all around. Meanwhile, Kiana Marie Alagaban of Bacolod Tay Tung High School won bronze in the junior all around and in ribbon./JSG, WDJ
