Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu/UNO-R wins in 2OT

Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu/The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) were recently pushed to double overtime in their 100-97 win over La Consolacion College-Bacolod/Davies Paint-J Squared Construction in the ongoing Negros Basketball Association President’s Cup at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

Red House opened the game with a narrow 21-19 lead after the first period, which later expanded to 26-26 at the half.

However, by the end of the fourth period, the teams were tied 80-80. Following the first period of extended time, the teams were still tied, 89-89.

Red House eventually managed to pull away in the second overtime period.

Bell Prado led the victory with 27 points, followed by Leonard Mustre with 13, alongside Ruel Cagayao and  Japhet Claridad each adding 10.

Meanwhile, Nico Apostol managed to score 33 points for Davies./JSG, WDJ
