A construction worker was killed after he was electrocuted late Saturday afternoon at Purok Mahirup in Barangay Alianza, Bago City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the fatality as 19-year-old Jemar Adolfo, a resident of Barangay Nayon in Alominus, Laguna.

Bago City police investigators said Adolfo was helping in the construction of a poultry farm when he accidentally made contact with a clothesline that was touching an open electrical wire.

Coworkers rushed Adolfo to the city’s district hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival by the on-duty physician./DGB, WDJ
