The Cadiz Sluggers remain undefeated in the ongoing Negros First 2nd Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. Area 2 Inter-Hacienda Summer League after defeating Hacienda Rosalia Gaston, 9-1, over the weekend at the Hacienda Lourdes Ballpark in Manapla.

Hacienda Rosalia Gaston also lost their second game of the weekend, falling to Hacienda Burgos, 12-11. The latter also defeated Hacienda Dos Hermanos, 11-2, to complete a successful doubleheader.

In other results, Hacienda Lourdes beat Hacienda JTF Fuentes, 12-10; and Barangay Punta Salong defeated Hacienda Alma, 17-15.

In the 1st Lourdes Soccorro Escalante Open Summer League, which is running concurrently at the same venue with the Negros First event, Fuentes Lines beat Silay City, 7-0; but lost to Carlos Hilado Memorial State College-Talisay, 2-1./JSG, WDJ
