According to the Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6), the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC), often referred to as the New Government Center (NGC), topped their list of recommended places to visit in Bacolod City.

“You have not been to Bacolod if you have not have been to NGC,” said Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia.

He also called the structure an “icon of Bacolod.”

Among other spots in the city named by DOT-6 include the Negros Museum, Negros Forest Ecological and Biodiversity Foundation, Bacolod Public Plaza, among others./WDJ
