The 7th Western Visayas Regional Cooperative Convention is scheduled to take place from May 23 to 25 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.

Around 500 are expected to participate in the event, with Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri serving as guest speaker.

“This is an opportunity for us to meet new members from other places and to discuss the importance of active participation of every member,” said Iloilo City Cooperative Development Council (ICCDC) President Carlito Jusa. “As an organization, everyone must know his or her role so that we can build [a] stronger foundation as a team.”

The convention seeks to promote advocacies which will help improve the economic and social development of its members./WDJ
