Bacolod City-based team wins

Bacolod City-based team Fuentes Lines recently beat Talisay City, 4-3, in the ongoing 1st Lourdes Soccorro Escalante Open Summer League at the Hacienda Lourdes Ballpark in Manapla.
The victory marked their first win of the tournament.
It was originally reported, among the participating teams, the team from Bacolod City would be representing Paglaum Village.
In the other game, Silay City beat Cadiz City, 6-2.
Meanwhile, in the Negros First 2nd Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. Area 2 Inter-Hacienda Summer League, which takes place concurrently with the Escalante Open at the Hacienda Lourdes Ballpark in Manapla, Hacienda Rosalia Gaston beat Hacienda JTF Fuentes, 10-3; Barangay Punta Salong beat Hacienda Lourdes, 13-11; and the Cadiz Sluggers beat Hacienda Burgos, 7-6./JSG, WDJ
