Four suspected drug personalities were arrested Wednesday morning following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspects as 22-year-old Ranilo Dela Cruz, Jr., 37-year-old Leser John Sazon, 33-year-old Ramie Lozañes, and 35-year-old Ernesto Polvorosa; all residents of the said city.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said the primary target of the operation was Dela Cruz, noting police moved in after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu, worth P500, to an undercover cop.

The other three were arrested as they were caught engaging in illegal drug activities during operation.

Police recovered two medium and four small sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P5,000, along with drug paraphernalia, from the suspects.

All four are detained at the Silay City Police Station and face illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
