The 3rd Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) Under-13 Invitational Cup opened yesterday at the Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City, where Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Education Department head instructor Aris Caslib said players are being observed as possible picks for the national youth football team in the future.

“We are just trying to identify the talents,” he said.

He said the tournament provides players “experience playing as a team and [performing] as individual players.”
