A newly-identified drug personality was arrested over the weekend during a buy-bust operation at Purok Kawayanan in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as Ronald Montero, a resident of the said barangay.

Police Station 10 (PS10) commander, Police Chief Inspector Charles Gever, said they received a report from a concerned citizen saying Montero was selling illegal drugs in the area, prompting police to conduct the operation.

Police recovered four sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P18,000.

Montero is currently detained at PS10 on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
