The Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Office (CLDO) recently conducted a skills training program on abaca fiber knotting for 22 San Carlos City Bureau of Jail Management and Penology inmates.

Participants were experienced in making souvenir items and had attended a related training on abaca.

CLDO Cooperatives Development Specialist I Grace Nequinto said participants would be recognized as partners in the abaca development program, adding the agency plans on conducting more inmate trainings in the future./WDJ
