A drug personality that previously surrendered to police was arrested Thursday afternoon after Bago City police conducted a buy-bust in the city’s Barangay Poblacion.

The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Willy Mel Paclipan, a resident of Purok Sun Flower in the said barangay.

Bago City police chief, Police Chief Inspector Joeffer Cabural, said the operation was conducted in cooperation with agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region VI.

He said Paclipan previously surrendered, however, the station’s intelligence unit reported he had not ended his engagement in illegal drug activities.

Police recovered five sachets of suspected shabu, with a street value of P6,650; and P720 in suspected drug money.

Paclipan is detained at the Bago City Police Station on illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
