The pickpocket caught in a viral video back in January victimizing a senior citizen at Bangga Ramos, along Lacson Street in Bacolod City, was collared by angry commuters Thursday night after she tried to pickpocket another person in Barangay Taculing.

In a social media post made by Jae Esther, she said they were travelling on a Taculing-Central Market jeepney when the suspected thief stole money from the jeepney driver.

When she was confronted by the driver, the suspect claimed it was her money before throwing it at the driver and attempting to exit the vehicle.

However, other commuters took notice of the incident and forced her back into the vehicle, which brought her to Police Station 6 (PS6).

While on the way to the station, the suspect tried to resist by taking her clothes off and spitting at passengers, prompting some commuters to hit her in the face.

In an interview with Watchmen Daily Journal yesterday morning, PS6 commander, Police Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman, Jr., said the thief was uncooperative when she arrived at the station, reportedly going berserk, and refused to give her name to police.

Benoman noted, the suspect started taking off her clothes while inside the police station.

He also stated they were forced to release the suspect after the driver decided not to press charges./DGB, WDJ
