National scientist Raul V. Fabella, during a recent event in Bacolod City, suggested having the city team up with Iloilo City as “twin cities.”

“I am a strong advocate [of making] Bacolod and Iloilo twin West Visayan cities,” he said. “These two cities will have lower power costs because of the outcomes of investments.”

“Power surplus attracts a lot of investors,” the scientist explained. “Prices will stabilize, supply will stabilize, and prices will actually go down.”
