The nomination deadline for the “Many Faces of the Teacher” program, which recognizes “role models in the teaching profession” is on May 31.
The Bato Balani Foundation, Inc. (BBFI), together with Diwa Learning Systems, is looking for teachers of all ages, actively teaching at private or public primary, elementary or secondary schools, colleges, and universities, are eligible.
The nominee must demonstrate an exceptional performance in teaching; employ creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness in teaching; lives out esteemed values in teaching, family, and personal life; possess a deep sense of nationalism and committed to teaching for the benefit of the country and its people; is respected in school and community as a role model for students, colleagues, and family; and must be an active member of the community and has engaged in socio-civic activities.
Last year, Dr. Bernadette Gabor of Bataan, Lord Jane Dordas of Capiz, Dr. Aimee Lynn Barrion Dupo of Los Baños, and Ronald Reyes of Albay were honored.
Nomination forms are available online at batobalanifoundation.org.ph or at the BBFI office on the sixth floor of the PDCP Bank Center, located at the corner of V.A. Rufino-Leviste Streets in Salcedo Village, Makati City.
