The Iloilo City government launched the Iloilo City Information Service Delivery Network (IISDN), which operates as an integrated information system, yesterday, April 24, at the Barrio Obrero covered gym.
“This network will act as referral system,” said City Councilor Lady Julie Grace Baronda. “For example, [if] our youth and adolescents have problems with mental health, we will refer them to the right office.”
IISDN offers access, particularly for young people, to facilities, institutions, and providers within the city, including health and social systems.
The system also provides training and capacity-building, education, and communication advocacy./WDJ
