The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) recently passed a resolution calling for the enforcement of existing policies that prohibit parking along Lacson and Araneta Streets between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

According to the legislation, authored by City Councilor Caesar Distrito, congestion along the said thoroughfares has increased due to lacking enforcement of the said policies.

“Traffic management requires the active cooperation of all traffic and law enforcers,” the resolution noted.

The resolution believes enforcement of the policies will also prevent double-parking./WDJ
