A suspected drug personality was arrested late Wednesday evening in joint buy-bust operation by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives and Himamaylan City police in the city’s Barangay 2 Poblacion.

Police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Leo Valle, a resident of Rizal Street in the said barangay.

According to Himamaylan City police chief, Police Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez, Jr., Valle was arrested after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P500.

A search of the suspect further yielded two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the P500 buy-bust money used in the operation.

Valle is detained at Himamaylan City Police Station and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
