Gun ban violator arrested in Barangay Singcang-Airport

A gun ban violator was arrested early Tuesday morning in Bacolod City’s Barangay Singcang-Airport.

Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Emon Degamo, a resident of the said barangay.

Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, said Degamo was arrested after a complaint was lodged against him, claiming he was carrying a firearm.

Police confiscated a .45 caliber pistol with four live bullets from the suspect.

Degamo faces charges for illegal possession of firearms and violations of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) gun ban.

The suspect is detained at Police Station 8./DGB, WDJ
