A ceremony was recently conducted at the Iloilo City Diamond Jubilee Hall for 188 individuals who completed drug rehabilitation at Iloilo City community change centers.

According to Iloilo City Health Officer, Dr. Bernard Caspe, those who completed rehabilitation, all individuals that earlier surrendered to law enforcement, underwent a 90-day rehabilitation program.

In addition, the Iloilo City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) also conducted a job fair, where those who completed the program were offered various jobs including janitor, forklift operator, cargo handlers, cashier, service crew, electrician, drivers, checker, among others.

“The city government will always, in any way, help you, as long as you also promise the government that you will not go back to illegal drugs,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III./WDJ
