The Iloilo City government recognized three volunteer rescue groups last week after saving a person from drowning last Easter Sunday.

Certificates of Recognition were given to the Unicorns Rescue Volunteer Brigade, Inc., the Arevalo Scorpions Rescue Volunteer Organization, and the Tiger Shark Rescue Volunteers, Inc.

“Thank you for showing the heroism that everybody must look up to nowadays,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “The city government appreciates the effort [by] volunteer groups, especially when they help those in need.”/WDJ
