A man was brought to a hospital in Bacolod City late Wednesday evening after he was mauled by unidentified suspects in Barangay 14.

Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Resty Datu, a resident of Purok Boulevard in the said barangay.

According to the victim, around 9:00 p.m., he was taking a stroll in the area when he was bumped by a group of men.

An argument ensued with the suspects, who responded back violently by mauling Datu.

The victim sustained several cuts and bruises to his face and was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment./DGB, WDJ
