Bacolod City restaurant Bob’s yesterday unveiled their partnership with GCash, becoming the first homegrown establishment to adopt the scan-to-pay payment option.

In a statement by Globe Telecom President and Chief Executive Officer Edward Cu, they are glad to see the iconic Bacolod establishment adapting to new trends in order to improve their total customer experience.

Cu explained, GCash is a mobile money service that can be used to pay for goods and services without cash.

With the recent introduction of the scan-to-pay feature with their GCash App, customers have an alternative when paying for goods and services with partner establishments, such as Bob’s.
