Nearly 2,500 kilograms of garbage was collected following recent environmental programs conducted in the Arevalo district of Iloilo City.

There “Adopt an Estero” program saw a total 2,100 kilograms of garbage gathered, while the Coastal Clean Up Drive collected 380 kilograms of garbage.

“We have been practicing the program for many years,” said City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) senior environmental management specialist Roberto C. Escoto. “Let’s all be responsible in disposing our waste.”
