A father was arrested by police yesterday morning after allegedly raping his daughter in Bacolod City.

Police have not disclosed the identities of either the victim or the suspect, but confirmed they are both residents of the city.

Based on the victim’s testimony, she was allegedly being molested by her father in their home.

Authorities were able to arrest the assailant after the victim managed to contact police during a recent encounter.

The suspect is presently detained at an undisclosed police station in Bacolod and faces rape charges./DGB, WDJ
