The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) is currently conducting seminars across the Western Visayas offering innovative business methods for local tourism establishments.
The two-day Tourism Enterprise Innovation and Self-Reinvention Techniques (Towards Achieving Service Excellence and Desired Results) Seminar, part of the DOT’s Tourism Skills Training Program (TISP), was held last week at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City and will be held in Bacolod City, starting today, April 9, at the Sugarland Hotel.
“There is indeed a need for the different tourism stakeholders to upgrade,” said DOT-6 director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas. “These kinds of trainings will make our tourism stakeholders become more competitive.”
The event is being held in partnership with Asian Development Bank./WDJ
