In commemoration of the Fall of Bataan, the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) will be hosting a lecture on Tuesday, April 10, at the MassKara Hall from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

United States National Archives head researcher Marie Vallejo will be speaking on “Finding Our Heroes: The Brigadier General Francisco Licuanan, Jr. Memorial Collection, Philippine Guerrilla Files from the US National Archives” and “Memories of our Heroes from World War II,” presenting digitized versions of the Philippine Archives Collection at the United States National Archives.

“We want to [instill] a sense of nationalism through the untold stories in these records,” Vallejo said.
