La Carlota City’s third most wanted street-level target was arrested in a Tuesday afternoon buy-bust operation at Sitio Carolina in the city’s Barangay 2.

Police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Emelio Jamandre, a resident of the said barangay.

La Carlota City police chief, Police Superintendent Cresenciano Cordero, Jr., said the suspect was arrested after handing over one small sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

A search of the suspect further yielded one big sachet of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, the P500 buy-bust money, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P300.

Jamandre is presently detained at the La Carlota City Police Station on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
