A total of nine teams are expected to participate in the 2018 Negros Basketball Association President’s Cup, which begins Sunday, April 8, at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

Among the competitors include the Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu/The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, STI-West Negros University/ESJ Fyre Fyter, the University of St. La Salle-Freeze Sportswear, La Consolacion College-Bacolod/Davies Paint-J Squared Construction, Melfern, Supreme ABF-Silver Graces Construction, Dawn Rent-A-Car, and Bike Game.

According to Tournament Commissioner Bobby Tee, the competition will include a single-round-robin elimination round. The top two teams will each advance to the semifinals with a twice-to-beat advantage, while ranks three through six compete in a knockout quarterfinal./JSG, WDJ
