A university professor, along with two others, were arrested following a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operation at an inn located in Bacolod City’s downtown area, late Saturday evening.
PDEA lead agent, Grace Cruz, refused to identify the captured suspects, but confirmed one is a professor on indefinite leave from a well-known university located in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Cruz said they recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, with a market value of P75,000.
She noted the target of the operation were the two individuals accompanying the professor, pointing out, the two previously surrendered to police.
All three face illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at Police Station 1./DGB, WD
