Former Games Amusement Board (GAB) Chairman and current Bacolod Amateur Boxing Association President Juan Ramon Guanzon recently revealed a boxing facility will be constructed in Bacolod City.

“We are building this boxing facility in our property along Hernaez Street, just across the Paglaum Sports Complex,” he said. “We need not to stop developing future champions; to attain this, we need a venue for them.”

The facility is being funded by a $2,000 donation by Thai philanthropist Naris Singwancha, which will go towards constructing a boxing ring./JSG, WDJ
