A security guard was found dead Tuesday morning at Hacienda Maria Antonia in Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the fatality as 37-year-old Ferdinand Duma, a resident of Yulo Street in Barangay 2 Poblacion of the said municipality.

According to reports by Isabela police, Duma was found lifeless at his post by fellow security guard Joel Gumawa, who immediately notified management and the police station.

When investigators arrived and examined Duma’s remains, they did not find any sign of injuries nor signs of foul play.

Police have yet to determine the cause of Duma’s death and have requested a post-mortem examination be conducted by the municipal health office./DGB, WDJ
