The Iloilo City government recently distributed 2017 third and fourth quarter social pensions to 198 senior citizens, with each beneficiary receiving P3,000.

Recipients are typically entitled to P1,500 per quarter.

According to City Social Welfare and Development Officer Gene Garingalao, the city currently has around 13,000 seniors receiving the government entitlement./WDJ
