Hanah Taekwondo athlete Shaira Isabel Garbanzos, as part of the Philippine team, will soon be leaving for the upcoming World Junior Taekwondo Championships, set to take place from April 9 to 13 in Hammamet, Tunisia.

The team will also be competing in the preceding qualifying tournament, which will determine qualification for the upcoming 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, set to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from October 6 to 18.

Garbanzos will be competing at the 55kg division.

A total 16 athletes will be representing the Philippines in a competition that will include entries from over 70 countries, including South Korea and the United States./JSG, WDJ
