Kaya FC-Iloilo arrives in Bacolod City tomorrow, April 3, ahead of their Philippines Football League (PFL) clash with Ceres-Negros FC at the Panaad Park and Stadium on Wednesday, April 4, billed as the “Visayas Clásico.”
Kaya FC head coach Noel Marcaida said he is honored to lead the Ilonggo side and is looking forward to the “Clásico.”
The Iloilo-based club is coming off a 3-2 win over the Fijian national team. The two recently played a friendly at the Biñan Football Stadium in Laguna.
In their previous PFL match, Kaya drew 2-2 against Davao Aguilas FC.
Ceres-Negros FC, meanwhile, will be opening their PFL championship defense, backed by recent experience playing in the 2018 AFC Champions League qualification round and the ongoing 2018 AFC Cup./JSG, WDJ
