The Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office recently turned over 80 fire hoses to the Iloilo City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

“The fire hoses will help them reach narrow locations and will pump out bigger volume of water,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “As our fire fighters serve us, we must also make a way to keep them safe while doing their job.”

According to City Fire Marshal, Chief Inspector Christopher Regencia, “The new firefighting equipment will help us in putting out the fire in a shorter period of time during operations.”/WDJ
