A total of 19 teams are expected to compete in the second season of the 8th Mayor Tinto Bascon Summer Volleyball League Inter High School Open, which is scheduled to begin on April 14 at the Himamaylan courts.

Among the teams expected to participate include the Foundation Preparatory Academy High School, Living Stones International School (LSIS), Aklan Catholic College, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B), La Carlota City, Iloilo City High School, Sipalay City, Don Bosco Technical Institute, and Colegio de Sta. Ana De Victorias in the boys’ division; while Bacolod Tay Tung High School, Talisay Gwapa, LSIS, CSA-B, Pontevedra, the St. John’s Institute, Trinity Christian School, and the University of St. La Salle will compete in the girls’ division.

Host city, Himamaylan City, will also be fielding teams in both categories./JSG, WDJ
