BTTHS wins Filipino-Chinese athletics meet in Pasig City

Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) were recently named overall champions at the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) Track and Field Invitational Cup at Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Antonette Jay Aguillon took home six gold medals in the 100m, 200m, long jump, triple jump, 4×100 relay, and 4×400 relay; while Jaden Gil Rivera earned four medals in the 800m, 1500m, 3000m steeple chase, and the 5000m.

May Therese Gula won three gold medals in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, and the 800m.

Other gold medalists included Ara Rahbea Delotavo and Hannah Jandra Delotavo in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays; Franz Gela Bintad in the discus throw; Ralph Vincent Acuña, Ralph Joshua Bangoy, Kenjie Okudiara, and Godwin Tulio in the 4×100 and 4×400 relays, Acuña also won in the 200m; and Jade Cordova in the 100m hurdles./JSG, WDJ
