A suspected drug dealer was arrested last Saturday following a buy-bust operation at Vilahergon in Barangay Rizal, Silay City.

Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Ronil Diploma, a newly-identified drug suspect and resident of Burgos-Bonifacio in Barangay 2 of the said city.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said they arrested Diploma after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a police poseur buyer.

A search of the suspect further yielded five small and two medium sachets of suspected shabu with a market value of P6,000.

Diploma is presently detained at the Silay City Police Station on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
